GAMES PEOPLE PLAY: The Checkers Match

1. "Games People Play" submitted to IFC MEDIA LABS STUDIOS FILMMAKING CHALLENGE - Make a short film and enter it in any of our three efficiency-themed categories for a chance to win up to $3000! Category: "The Spirit of Efficiency"

2. "Games People Play" submitted to REEL 13 WNET/Thirteen. Reel 13 Shorts, is an interactive on-line film competition that celebrates the best in independent short films. Each week, three finalists are selected from the submissions. Reel 13 viewers can then vote online for their favorites. The three finalists each week win a one year subscription to Vimeo Plus. The winning film of the week will be broadcast on Reel 13, Thirteen’s weekly Saturday night programming block of classic and independent cinema.

SYNOPSIS – A young man outwits his opponent in a checkers match with cunning nonchalance and bravado.
